WINEMAKING NOTES:
This fortified wine is made from 75% Touriga Nacional and 25% Tinta Cao varieties from the 2003 harvest. Picked late in the season to develop the concentrated flavors and aromas characterizing this style of wine, aged brandy was added to stop fermentation then the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 1½ years.

This Port shows a red rim, concentrated fruit aromas and jammy, berry compote fruit flavors followed by spicy brown sugar and a silky smooth oak finish. Enjoy with dried fruits, filberts and walnuts and a nice Stilton to finish a meal.
