WINEMAKING NOTES:
These
organic grapes from the Hallauer Vineyard in the
Santa Ynez Valley were handpicked, crushed in
small fermenters, punched down three times daily
and then pressed into small French oak barrels
after fermentation. The wine was aged for 16 months
and bottled unfiltered.

TASTING NOTES:
Dark
red with a violet rim, savory spice and Black
Cherry aromas with a background of leather. Flavors
of Black Cherry and spice with a toasty oak finish.
Goes well with tomato based pasta sauces.
